a quick google search netted me several results

http://blogs.technet.com/b/nap/

Explains that NAP stands for Network Access Protection.

Is an article about Event ID 11 — NAP Agent Communication with the SHA
And by reading that I am understanding that it is a Microsoft-Windows-NetworkAccessProtection

http://technet.micro...1(v=ws.10).aspx

explains the NAP Infrastructure and Applies To: Windows Server 2008 R2

So in short, NAP is Windows Server componant that is intended to help in protecting Network functions.
