This guide pertains to the removal of Antivirus 2009 (Rogue Security Application).

Antivirus 2009 is a rogue AntiSpyware program that uses gives false alerts and misleading advertising to make the user purchase their software. The program does not attempt to scan for real threats and nothing reported by the program is real.
